The IBC is a unique community space requiring volunteers with technical, retail or customer service skills to develop our offer further in Hastings Old Town.
An IBC Assistant Volunteer you will be assisting with welcoming participants, reception cover, supporting our restaurant team, leading sessions (where appropriate) and undertaking general administration duties.
As an IBC Activities Volunteer you will be assisting with the delivery and room arrangements for a variety of activities, supporting our customers by leading sessions and helping with general administration duties.
As an IBC Volunteer Receptionist you will be a welcoming face within our centre. You will be assisting with supporting telephone enquiries, taking bookings, handling cash and credit card transactions and helping with general administration duties.
As an IBC Volunteer Fitness Assistant, you will be a welcoming face within our fitness team. You will also be assisting with set up of classes and getting involved with general fitness/membership related administration. No fitness skills qualifications or background is required.
As an Kitchen and Café Volunteer is a key part of the café and catering team helping to provide great food and service. Working alongside our Head Chef, Kitchen & Café Assistant and other volunteers you will help ensure our café is well known for its enticing, healthy and affordable menus.
At the Isabel Blackman Centre we place great value in our volunteers who bring so much to the centre, their time, energy and commitment are recognised and greatly appreciated.
